Palo Santo (Burseara Graveolens) meaning is ‘sacred stick,’ and is also known as "Holy Wood”. It is used for centuries by Shamans and healers as part of their religious ceremonies and healing rituals. ur sticks are already cut size to be easy to burn. Unlike a conventional incense, which burns completely after lighting, Palo Santo may be relit many times. When lighting, allow the wood to burn for about 30 secs to 1 minute, then blow the flame out. Palo Santo may be re-lit many times. Blow the smoke around the areas of where you will like to clear the energy with the intention to do so. The rich smell of Palo Santo will also bring peace and clarity to the moment along with good feelings. When finished, place the stick in a fireproof bowl of metal, glass or clay. The glow will end on its own unless you blow on the ember which will keep the smoke going. Always use caution and respect when working with fire
